The EV Pioneers are a determined group of high school students that will be competing in the Waterloo Electric Vehicle (EV) Challenge in May 2018. The EV Challenge tasks teams of high school students with designing and building all-electric vehicles that are tested in an annual endurance competition. Teams participate in two races, plus an engineering design competition. Our goal is to design and build a car, from scratch, that runs completely on electric battery power. Once we have built and tested the car, we'll be ready to race in the the EV Challenge. Click here for the Waterloo EV challenge rules!
We have a goal to raise $6,000. All of our funding goes to improving our vehicle, even the smallest donations can make all the difference. Please e-mail us if you'd like to support our team. We need your sponsorship support to help us get this EV on the track! Thank you to Bean GMC dealership, Carleton Place and R. J. Braden Drywall, Bracebridge, our lead sponsors, for their generous support in making this happen.
Spread the word! Print out our promo brochure and help us create the future.
